Microsoft unveils Xbox Music, a music-streaming service for consoles, pcs, tablets, and phones

With E3 just a day away, Microsoft jumped the gun Monday, unveiling Xbox Music, a streaming-music service intended to go head-to-head with Apple’s iTunes. In addition to the company’s consoles, Xbox Music will also work with computers, tablets, and phones. Further details are fuzzy for the time being, but Microsoft  said that the service, which could extend to iOS and Android, according to earlier reports, will launch with over 30 million tracks.
