Most people see it as a convenient machine to add more to their productivity or machine usage experience. A massive population juggles with the unexpected issues in the MacBook. So, if you are one of those who have been encountering some problems in operating your Macbook, then here is something of your interest.

Some must-to-know how-tos for you –

Connect Android with your MacBook – Many people live in the misconception that they can’t surf their Android phone on a bigger screen if they have a MacBook. Everything is possible in the technological world. Connecting your Android cell phone with the MacBook takes a few steps, and you are done. There are many AirDroid apps available online which navigate the Android phone apps and all other types of files on your MacBook. One of the biggest examples of this app is BlueStack. Download the app on your MacBook, synchronize it with the phone, and you are all set to use the phone on a bigger screen.

Check storage on MacBook – You can’t create or free up space in your system until you don’t know the exact amount of space required on your MacBook. There are several ways to check the actual storage space on your MacBook- manually or via software. When talking about convenience, people often look upon the former and easier way (software). Still, those who have been using a MacBook for a long time prefer the manual process for accurate results. Getting free space on your MacBook is a hassle-free process. The procedure includes clicking on the Apple icon and clicking on ‘About This Mac.’ Now go to ‘Storage’; this will take you to the detailed illustration of which app or file is consuming the maximum space.

Screenshot control access – Taking a screenshot of a selected area can be problematic for Mac users until you are not familiar with the shortcuts. For this, tap ‘Command’ + Shift 4 and now drag the box to the preferred area. Here, you can toggle between a picture using a cross-hair or application window via pressing the ‘Spacebar’ button. This is the simplest way to capture screenshots of the desired spot.

How to view the split-screen view – This one is used for the sake of resizing the window. Here, you need to hold on to the ‘Option’ key for a few seconds, and you will see both windows in a Split Screen view.

How to search quickly – MacBooks are intact with a smart and intuitive feature named ‘Spotlight’ which helps to strengthen the search process and makes it faster than ever before. Launch the ‘Spotlight’ feature from the menu bar and search any specific file you want to view. From currency exchange to finding a long-lost file in seconds, Spotlight is an amazing tool to make the most of your user experience. However, Spotlight offers the currency conversion details when the MacBook has an active internet connection.

Update the browser – Safari carries the responsibility of letting a MacBook user connect with the digital world. Therefore, it has to be updated and well-maintained in all spheres. To update the Safari browser, you can click on the ‘Apple’ logo, click on ‘System Preference,’ go-to ‘System Updates’ and check if there is any update available for the browser. If you don’t want to bother yourself with the browser update hassles, then go for the ‘automatically keep my Mac up to date’ option.

How to move menu – Many options or icons displayed in macOS Sierra can be moved depending on the convenience or preference. Such modifications are easy, quick, and best to enhance your user experience. For this, click on the specific icon, now hold on to the ‘Command’ key and pull it out from the menu bar. And you are done.

How to rename a cluster of files?

So, you have got a string of files to rename? Select all of them, put them in an enclosing folder, and right-click to rename. Select the ‘Rename Items’ option from the contextual menu and rename the files by entering a name or number.
