Different Ways to Make Your Trade Show Booth Stand Out

February 10, 2020

If you’ve signed up to attend several trade shows and are looking for ways to ensure that your booth stands out, you’ve come to the right place. The whole point of attending a trade show is to try and gain valuable exposure for your growing business. If you don’t want your booth to get overshadowed by more experienced business’ booths, creating an inviting trade show booth will help you promote your business. Listed below are a wide variety of helpful trade show tips that will attract large crowds to your business’ booth.

Offer unique freebies:

Instead of trying to attract attention by handing out notepads or pens which feature your business’ name, it’s a wiser idea to offer unique freebies such as headphones, stress balls, towels, socks, and keychains. These will allow your business to stand out from all of the booths which choose to give away branded pens, pencils, and notepads.

Alternatively, you may want to give away items that directly relate to your business’ industry. As an example, if you run a car-related business, you may want to give away model cars to your booth’s visitors. Or if your business is in the catering industry, you may want to give away freshly made snacks.

Use unmanned drones to attract positive attention:

You’ll definitely be able to draw a crowd by having unmanned drones hovering around your business’ booth. Drones are still a novelty and are a piece of technology which individuals are unlikely to see in operation on a daily basis.

Offer immersive experiences:

Another way to encourage individuals to queue up outside your business’ both its to offer fun, immersive experiences. As an example, you may want to hire a photo booth or to hang up a selfie backdrop, to encourage individuals to visit your booth. If you do so, make sure to place your business’ logo in your photo booth or on your selfie backdrop, to ensure that your visitors will be reminded of your business, well after your trade show closes for business.

Invest in having professional banners and backdrops:

If your business’ booth boasts professionally printed banners, individuals will assume that you put as much effort into your business’ products and services as your trade show booth. So it’s well worth trying to impress your trade show’s attendees with professional banners and signs.

Better yet, if you attend trade shows several times a year, you’ll be able to reuse your professionally printed banners at a wide variety of events. Which will make the price of having professionally printed banners and backdrops, seem like a more reasonable expense.

Run a competition:

One of the easiest ways to get individuals to join your business’ subscription list is to run a competition for the duration of your trade show. Instead of having your visitors fill out a lengthy contact form, keep things simple by simply asking for their name and their email address. As individuals may be put off by lengthy contact forms that require them to fill out their street address and phone number. As well as their full name and email address.

Make sure that your booth has at least two hosts:

Instead of standing at your booth alone, ensure that you have a business partner or employee on hand in order to help create a buzz surrounding your booth. You may even find that your confidence level will increase as a result of having a partner on hand to help you manage your trade show booth.

If you follow all of the tips which have been outlined above, you should have no trouble attracting individuals to your business’ trade show booth. Which will allow you to increase your business’ brand awareness in a short time period.
