Dr.Fone – Switch: Transfer Data Between Mobiles in a Single Click

March 28, 2019

Do you like to change your phone? Or do you want to transfer data from iPhone to Android? It is usually a tedious process, especially when you need to move all your data to the new phone, although it does not have to be if you use software specially designed for that task, such as dr.fone – Switch, which transfers all your data between mobile phones in a single click. How to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone? It’s not a difficult task anymore with dr.fone!

This software will help you make a boring and time-consuming task fast and comfortable. The transfer of all the information from your old mobile phone to the new one, be it an Android phone, iPhone or Symbian, will be a simple process that can be done in a few steps.

In fact, you will only need two things, your old and new phones and the USB cable to connect them to the computer and start to carry out the data transfer process between your old phone and the new one quickly. Phone to phone transfer will be as easy as clicking.

Meet dr.fone – Switch in detail

The compatibility offered by dr.fone – Switch is very wide since it supports more than 6,000 phones and tablets of all brands (iPhone, Samsung, Huawei, ZTE, LG, HTC, etc.). The platforms supported by dr.fone – Switch are Android, iOS and even Symbian. This tool also supports recently launched phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S9. Although Galaxy phones include the Samsung Smart Switch utility, it has some limitations that cause you not to be able to use it in certain scenarios.

For example, imagine you have a Samsung Galaxy S6, you bought the iPhone 8 Plus and want to copy all your data from the Samsung phone to Apple. With Samsung Smart Switch you could not do it because this tool only allows transferring information between Samsung Galaxy phones.

There is a change of platform, from Android to iOS, so using dr.fone – Switch is the best alternative to Samsung Smart Switch. No matter which platform you come from and where you go, if you run iPhone to Android transfer or vice versa, this software allows you to move data from one phone to another, regardless of the phone you have and the new one you have bought.

Connect the phones and move your data

The operation of dr.fone – Switch could not be easier thanks to its intuitive interface. Once the application is downloaded, you will find yourself in a panel with different interesting and useful tools, among which is “switch or copy”. It is the “switch or copy” option that will help you to transfer all the data from the old phone, whatever the brand, to the new one. The user would just have to follow these steps:

– Connect both phones to the computer using the USB cable. dr.fone – Switch should recognize them immediately. You may need to activate some settings on your phone beforehand, although there is no problem as the software detects the phone model and shows the steps to make the connection effective. In this case, you must enable “USB debugging” and accept the permissions on the screen of both phones.

– Select the source phone (the old one) and the destination phone that you are going to have from now on and to which you want to pass the data. Both should appear with their names in the upper part of the window and the word “connected”, indicating that they are ready. If you see that the origin and destination phone do not coincide, do not worry because you only have to click on the “flip” option at the top so that the phones can change their position.

– Now choose the content you want to copy by checking the corresponding boxes. Note how the number of each of these options appears in the interface itself, that is, the number of contacts, SMS and others appears to change from one smartphone to another, a very useful visualization that allows us to quickly know the amount of information.

– When you decide what you want to transfer from one phone to another, click on the “start” option to start the process and wait a few minutes. When the entire data transfer process is ready, you will only have to disconnect the phones and you will have ready to use the new phone, with all the old data. It’s that easy to move information between any phone with dr.fone – Switch.

A powerful tool with wide compatibility

dr.fone – Switch is one of the most suitable tools to move data between phones of any platform, from iOS to iOS, from Android to iOS and vice versa, etc. It becomes even the ideal alternative to Samsung Smart Switch software because it is much more complete.
